FIGURE SKATING
The RRRink is home to the Southern Oregon Figure Skating Club (SOFSC), a member club of the Oregon Skating Council (OSC). Some skaters travel throughout the region competing in FREESTYLE (solo, pairs, adult, open), MOVES-in-the-FIELD, FIGURES or DANCE. Skaters often take proficiency tests in the above disciplines during the competitive skating season in order to improve their skills or to qualify to compete.
Southern Oregon Figure Skating Club is a non-profit club, with the goal of promoting figure skating in all its various divisions. Club members are encouraged to participate in many club activities, tests, ice shows, exhibitions, and competitions. Club members strive to comply with and support the USFS and club policies, as well as help in fundraising activities.
